The packaging has a sleeve over the glass part. At least last time I did it there was.
I haven't had a burned out headlight in many years. Now the LED's took over anyway.
The fancy plastic box (headlights or taillights) cost hundreds of dollars.
It amuses me for some schadenfraudey reason to see a pricey car with a broken light.
